The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as:

Bruckners Addition Lot 7 Blk 32 - Book 4 Page 81 Block 32 lots 6/7

For the purpose of constructing a single-family residence.

The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Management regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Management regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit.

The following conditions apply to this permit:

1. All work shall conform to the attached Site Plan for Barrio Metalico by Rob Paulus, Architect, Ltd., and approved "Hydrologic/Hydraulic Report for Barrio Metallica Sur y Norte", by Jeffrey A. Stanley Engineering, sealed 4-23-03 which are made part of this permit.

2. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed or diverted other than as may be shown on the approved site plan.

3. Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T04OT00120. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550."

4. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties.

5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any proposed or required development changes the configuration of the structure and/or site development.

6. Any walls to be proposed will require a separate floodplain use permit application and approval prior to construction. Please call Development Services Department at 791-5550 for questions.
7. A right-of-way Excavation Permit is required for any trenching, construction or development activity within the public right of way. Contact Permits and Codes Section, Engineering Division - Transportation Department at 791-5100 for inquiries.

8. The lowest finish floor of the structure under this permit shall be placed upon a dirt, concrete, or similar type solid pad to a minimum floor elevation of 2432.33, based upon local benchmark information contained in the approved Hydrologic/Hydraulic Report, and recorded in City of Tucson Survey Field Book 1989-A-1 Page 41 (COT datum).

This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. This permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section.
