PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Buildings with Units #1 & #2, and Units #9 & #10 shall not have more than one feeder, per NEC 225-30. However, it is the position of the City that if such feeders originate in the same place, terminate in the same place, are no smaller than 1/0 and have a grounding electrode established at their termination, they meet the intent of Code per 230-2 and 230-40, Exception No. 2. Please either increase such feeders from #3 to 1/0 (and re-evaluate conduit fill), or alter the design configuration such that there is only one feeder going to each Separate Building. 2. Please provide more information on the heaters, to enable evaluation of a disconnect switch. Are they with/without motors, unit switches, and supplementary OC protection? 3. Provide laundry circuits per NEC 210-52 (f), and outdoor outlets per 210-52 (e), or justify otherwise. 4. On Sheet E3, please indicate panel location in Units, 4, 9, & 10. 5. Protect bedroom branch circuits with Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupters, per NEC 210-12. 6. Provide bedroom wall-switch controlled outlets per NEC 210-70. |
