1) Recreation = class B pool, Pool code sec 719.(a) There shall be separation between the spaces used by visitors and spectators in street clothes and those spaces used by users. The visitor and spectator area may be within the pool perimeter enclosure if it is in a separate area segregated from the space used by users. Clarify which fence shall be considered pool enclosure. All gates must be equipped with self-closing and positive self-latching closure @ min. 45" A.F.F. and a min. 5 ft high per amendments code section 3109.
2) Separate toilet facilities shall be provided for spectators. ANSI/NSPI-1 1991 Artcile XVIII section 18.1 and 18.2. Justify recreation has enough facilities to carry additional occupant load. Clarify distance traveled.

3) Clarify on floor plans accessibility ANSI A117.1 clear floor space requirements have been met for restroom facility. Section 606.6 exposed pipes and surfaces (under lavatory), please clarify.

4) ANSI/NSPI -1 1991 Section 17.4 Shower and dressing booths shall be provided in female dressing space. Dressing booths shall be provided with curtains or other means of seclusion.

5) Pool stair handrail not shown on sht. A101 please clarify.

6) Detail 2/SP3.3 clarify dimensions per ANSI 5.5, recessed treads min. depth of 5" & minimum width of 12".

7) Light Pole base structural calcuations and specifications. Documents/copies are not readable. Please provide a clear copy.

SUMMARY: DSD Engineering Division has reviewed the plan set re-submittal for Grading Plan and SWPPP review. DSD Engineering recommends CONDITIONAL APPROVAL (with conditions for the civil drawings C1 - C5 and the SWPPP report), AT TIME OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT APPROVAL. The Drainage Report was accepted for this project only.

GRADING PLAN /SWPPP CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1) HEALTH DEPARTMENT APPROVAL required prior to approval and issuance of permits.
2) Estimate for total disturbance area is labeled as 227,745 square feet as noted on sheet C2.
3) REGARDING SHEET C1, SEE Survey Field Book 1989-A-1 Page 70 FOR BENCHMARK REFERENCE.
4) GRADE TO DRAIN AWAY FROM STRUCTURES.
5) The signatures from the operators must be on the SWPPP on the site copy of the SWPPP at or before the commencement of construction.
6) Contractor must complete the Notice of Intent and submit it to ADEQ and the City of Tucson 48 hours prior to commencement of construction activity.
7) Clearing and grubbing and demolition will occur after the erosion controls are established. CALL FOR DSD INSPECTION / PRE-CON AT TIME OF INTERIM EROSION CONTROL INSTALLATION.
