Site Plan: I apologize for the delay in approving your Site Plan and Drainage Evaluation Report (DER), however please understand that although the property was not in the flood plain it was shown to be in a COT Flood Hazard area. Projects located in these areas must be reviewed cautiously in order to limit flood damage. The Engineering/Floodplain Div. has reviewed the DER and has agreed that the project is not in the flood plain. The COT has filed the Drainage Evaluation report in the record dept. (201 N. Stone Ave.) under the project address. If additional improvements are planned, it will be important to refer to the Drainage Evaluation report and may eliminate the need for a Flood Plain Use permit.
