1) 1008 Doors shall easily be recognizable as doors. Means of egress doors shall not be concealed by curtains, drapes, decorations, or similar materials. Separation between lounge and retail. Door to storage facility cannot be used as a required exit per section 1013.2
2) Clarify location of mech / floor framing with architectural & structural plans. it appears note 26 on sht. A.1(Men's toilet room) on area not structurally designed by structural engineer. Sht. A4.1 (Roof plan) shows a different location. Also clarify load of equipment for large hatched box shown @ southwest corner of back office.
3) Coordinate mech. Equipment note 13 sht.A2.1 with structural drawing sht S2.1
4) Clarify note 27 & 28 sht. A2.1 access floor framing. Why access over door? Cannot block exit way with ladder.

01/12/2005 Robert Sherry PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Second request. Appliances to be directly connected to the water supply system (e.g. ice machine and glass washer) that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps may require reduced pressure principle backflow preventers. Please submit equipment sheets for determination. Note: the Watts 9BD specified for the ice machine is too small for the ice machine (Section 610.2, UPC 1994). Reference Section 603.0, UPC 1994.
2. Sheet P1.1 (Revision PC1) still shows the reduced pressure backflow preventer being 1" with both a 1" and a 2"water line attached. Resize the reduced pressure backflow preventor to comply to Section 610.2, UPC 1994.
3. Provide concurrence from the Pima County Health Department that the 3-compartment sink is not required for this installation. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994.
