| 11/05/2004 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. It appears that some Fixtures R are on 2-pole CBs (perimeter lights on 40, 42), whereas others (parking lot lights on 30,32) are on single-pole. Please clarify. 2. Panels A1 and B1 schedules indicate "Lugs Only". Since they are fed via feed-through lugs at Panels A and B, and since their conductor sizes are of ampacity 200A, they would be considered Tap Conductors per NEC 240.2. It appears that they violate 240.21 (A) because Panels A1 and B1 are rated 225 A. Suggest the addition of 200 A MCBs for these panels. 3. Equipment grounding conductors in the above feeders, sized per Table 250.122 for the 400A AF, should be of minimum size #3. 4. In Fault Current Note #4, please correct the NEC references from the 1999 to the 2002 version. For example "110.22" and "240.83 (c)" instead on "110-22" and "240-83 z(c). 5. Please identify the dedicated 120V circuit for the UPS indicated on the Partial Intercom System Riser Diagram on Sheet E601. Provide for grounding as a separately derived system (250.30) if applicable. |
