This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. General Requirements 1. All corrections and revisions shall be made on the original tracings and two new sets of prints or (1) sepia and (1) blue line shall be returned. 2. Pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays ensure that corrections have been made, are complete and have been coordinated on all-applicable details and notes. Code Compliance Rooms and Structures 1. Specify size of existing window in existing bedroom adjacent new bathroom. 2. Is there no wall between new bathroom and new extended living room? Clarify. 3. Provide smoke detector in vicinity of entrance to existing bedroom. This would be in bathroom. 4. Provide heat for extended family room. This room is only considered part of family room if shared wall is open 50% or greater. 5. Provide dedicated circuit @ new bathroom with GFI protection. 6. Storage shed - Structure is not to code, Provide Mobile home tiedown anchors at each corner and strap to structure. Hobby Room 1. Specify ridge beam. 2. Specify bearing of wall under 2x10 box beam. Is this all bearing on existing wall or roof? Detail this connection. 3. Specify headers over both man doors.
