Revise the site drawing to show the sizes and routes of the building water supplies along with the location of both the water meter and the reduced pressure backflow preventer assembly. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994. 2. Include all existing fixtures served by a single meter when calculating the total demand and determining pipe sizes. Reference Section 610.1, UPC 1994. 3. Provide water pressure and water pipe sizing calculations. Reference Appendix A, UPC 1994. 4. Revise the drawing so that the size of the RPBP located after the meter complies to Section 610.2, UPC 1994. 5. Provide the rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole and the first floor elevation. Determine the need for a backwater valve per Section 710.1, UPC 1994. 6. | 10/04/2004 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Terminate the condensate drain for AC-1 in accordance with Section 307.2.1, IMC as amended by the City of Tucson. 2. Clarify the total amount of supply air provided by AC-1 (Shown as 1400 CFM on M1.1 and as both 1400 CFM and 1800 CFM on M2.1). 3. Correct the ventilation calculations for AC-1: (50x348)/1000 = 17.4, not 8. Note also that the calculation for Section 403.3.2 is also incorrect. |

| 10/20/2004 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. On Sheet E1 Electrical Site Plan, it appears that one of the Key symbols "2" should read "5". 2. Specifications make several references to pre-2002 NEC. Examples: "250-94" and "250-95" on pages 16-34 and 16-35. Please convert all such references to their 2002 counterpart. 3. Please submit a cut sheet for new Fixture D. 4. Please provide IECC calculations for lighting power budget. Such calcs were submitted for Buildings B and C. Note: it does not appear that Building B LPB calcs should be required on Building B. 5. Please add a note to the plans requiring the contractor to provide TEP available fault current, and to install equipment rated for such AFC. 6. Per NEC 230.2, a second service may not be installed on this building. According to the Building Plans Examiner, the wall between D and A is not a fire wall. If this were a fire wall, then A and D could be considered as separate buildings per Article 100. |
