Continuous pedestrian circulation/accessibility must provide connections between the buildings and the public right-of- way along each street which the property fronts. If no pedestrian sidewalk connecting the proposed storage bldg. to Global Loop is to be provided, a Development Standard Modification Request (DSMR) must be approved. If approved add the DSMR case number, date of approval and any conditions imposed to the general notes. DSMR applications are available at the Zoning Review Counter of Development Services Dept, 1st floor, 201 N. Stone Ave. DS 2-08.4.1.A DS 2-02.2.1.A.12 2. Between a building and a Parking Area Access Lane (PAAL) a minimum 5-foot pedestrian refuge area, including a 4-foot wide sidewalk, which is unobstructed and setback 1-foot from the PAAL, is required. If no pedestrian refuge w/sidewalk, is to be constructed adjacent to the new storage facility, a DSMR must be approved (see comment 1 above).
