Definition of Canopy Tree: A woody plant, other than a palm tree, with a mature crown diameter of at least fifteen (15) feet and having a trunk that, at maturity, is kept clear of leaves and branches at least six (6) feet above grade. (See Illustration LUC 6.2.3.) Provide canopy trees for proposed and future landscape borders.
