1. Submit a complete code analysis. Clarify occupancy I-1 or R-2. See table 503 for height and area allowable. Separated use or non-separated use? Clarify allowable areas based on existing areas that additional square footage can be added.
2. Justify / clarify occupancy load for room added. Table 1003.2.2.2
3. What is on the other side of the wall from the exercise room. Clarify that existing bldg. Still meets code section 1009. Clarify no emergency exits for sleeping rooms are being blocked off.
4. Need clarification that existing building does not require to use this room for egress. See code section 1004.2.3 - new double door has a cylinder lock on the exterior, which could prevent egress.
5. 1003.3 Clarify door hardware height.
6. Ramp - conform to section 1003.3.4.1 & 1003.3.4.9.
7. Sht. A-5 specify pre-fabricated truss on roof framing plan - see structural calculations.
8. Provide acoustical tile attachment detail.
