This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. General Requirements 1. All corrections and revisions shall be made on the original tracings and two new sets of prints or (1) sepia and (1) blue line shall be returned. 2. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays ensure that corrections have been made, are complete and have been coordinated on all-applicable details and notes. 3. Revise drawings to show extended porch without deleted family room. Plans are illegible in the region where the family room is deleted and the porch is extended. Site Plan 1. Provide new site plan showing removal of family room and extension of porch. This site plan must be approved by zoning. Structural Plan 1. 5/9 notes (5) 2x8's while sheet 4 notes (4). Clarify. 2. 4/9 - Where is 4x8 beam at on roof framing plan? 3. Clarify new porch roof framing. In absence of valley beam how will porch roof interface with new master bedroom roof and other porch roof. Roof framing plan needs clarity. Remove all deleted work. 4. 4/8 and 4/9 - Post base should be ABU46 and post cap should be AC-6. Clarify on each detail. Dimension 6" from grade to bottom of post. 5. 5/8 - Dimension 6" from grade to bottom of sill plate. 6. Braced wall panel is missing. A 4' panel must occur no less than 12'-6" from edge of addition. Check master bedroom wall that faces new porch. Note - an alternate braced wall panel can be used, 2'-8" wide panel with 1800 LB uplift capacity tiedowns at each end. Provide either panel. 7. R-30 will not fit in a 2x8 space. Rectify and revise MEC calcs if necessary. Mechanical Plan 1. Provide specifications for FCU-1.
