3. Provide an upper terminal cleanout for the water closet located in room 106 (The cleanout located on the 2" drain from the floor drain is too small to service the 4" drain line.). Reference Section 707.4, UPC 1994.
4. The manufacturer's literature for the specified water heater (Takagi TK2) indicates an input of 185,000 BTUH and a maximum capacity of 5.7 GPM with a 60-degree temperature rise. Revise combustion air calculations, gas calculations and pipe sizes as required. Show how the specified water heater can supply the required hot water demand to meet the Pima County Health Department requirements. Reference Sections 1216.2 and 101.5.2, UPC 1994.
5. Revise Detail 5/P-4.0 to remove the references to the combination waste and vent systems.
6. Provide an expansion tank to accommodate thermal expansion from the water heater. Reference Section 608.3 UPC 1994.
7. Provide automatic controls for the recirculating hot water system per Section 704.6, IECC 1998.
8. Show the size of the required flexible connection for the water heater on the drawing. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994. Note: the 2002 CPC is not relevant to this jurisdiction.
9. Revise the general plumbing note, K, to coordinate with the revised water heater design.
10. Clarify the material to be used for the pressure relief discharge pipe, noted as "p pipe" in plumbing plan note 10, sheet P-1.0. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994.
