This comment was made on the first submittal. From the response it is evident that this conduit run is indeed in a Class 1 Division 2 area. So please specify the conduit type and location of the seal with respect to the Class 1 Division 2 border indicated on the plans. 2. "The Heat Transfer Skid area has not been identified as a Classified location. However, such items as the CNG Pressure Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Level Switches, and Flow Switches are specified in Division 15 as meeting Class 1 Division 1 Group D requirements. Please verify whether the skid area needs classification itself, possibly Division 2 according to NEC 501(b), and whether the installation for Panel C, Circuit C-2,4,6, or any of the wiring associated with the PLC or the skid electrical equipment would be affected." This comment was made on the first submittal. Identify the extent of the classified area on the plans. Specify conduit and equipment type for all such items within such classified area, and location of all seals. |
