IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Since McQuay is specified in Division 15 an acceptable Chiller manufacturer, please verify that such equipment can withstand the available fault current at its terminals. It appears that there are over 10,000 AFC at the controller, and the latest information we have is that the McQuay chillers can not withstand greater than 5000 AFC.
2. Since the conduit from MCC to New Panel C is to be run through the roof truss system, and since the area is Class 1 Division 2 up to the roof, it appears that the wiring method and conduit seals should be specified to comply with NEC 501-4 (b) and 501-5.
3. The Heat Transfer Skid area has not been identified as a Classified location. However, such items as the CNG Pressure Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Level Switches, and Flow Switches are specified in Division 15 as meeting Class 1 Division 1 Group D requirements. Please verify whether the skid area needs classification itself, possibly Division 2 according to NEC 501(b), and whether the installation for Panel C, Circuit C-2,4,6, or any of the wiring associated with the PLC or the skid electrical equipment would be affected.
