IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. "Provide a mounting detail for the 112.5 KVA X'FMR, including dimensions and total weight of the equipment, attachment, and any other information required by the Building Plans Examiner." This comment was made on the previous submittal. The response to this Comment has been duly noted. This is a typical requirement which was to my knowledge was never waived in the past due to uncertainties of procurement. In any case, Raul Palma (x1109), your Building/Structural Plans Examiner, needs to approve any such special arrangement as you suggest. The Electrical Plans Examiner will be evaluating such detail in context of its installation in the equipment room for compliance with NEC 110-26. This comment was made on the first and second submittal. In a telephone conversation of 4/30/04, the Electrical Plans Examiner was told by Tom at ABS (303.623.6200 x114) that the transformer would be relocated to the floor. It was not. No changes have been made to Keynote 10 on Sheet E2.1. And transformer needs to be plotted to scale equipment room.
2. "Panel schedules refer to One-Line Diagram for fault current rating. One-Line does not indicate this for Panels M1, P1, or H1." This comment was made on the previous submittal. The response to this Comment has been duly noted. However, it is still necessary to specify the fault current ratings of your panels, either on the panel schedules or on the line diagram. Just providing the available fault current at these panels, although necessary, does not fulfill the requirement of specifying such rating of the panels. This comment was made on the first and second submittal. In a telephone conversation of 4/30/04, the Electrical Plans Examiner was told by Tom at ABS (303.623.6200 x114) that the panel schedules would indicate fault current rating. They do not. No changes have been made to Sheets E0.5, E0.6, or E0.7.
