| 03/22/2004 | Linda Buczynski | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. GLOBAL 1. Minimum font size is 10 point. Please resize and reprint. Sheet E0.0 1. Add loads for any other existing occupancies which may be on the same service. Otherwise disregard. 2. Conduit 18, since it parallels (2) 3/0, would be read as "Greater than 3/0" on Table 250-66. Size of Gnd should be #2, not #3. Note that each Gnd shall be sized for the TOTAL cross-sectional area of the paralleled conductors. Sheet E0.1 1. There are 14 receptacles on Ckt 74 Power Plan, but panel schedule only accounts for 6. Note that this also overloads the circuit at 21 A. 2. Ckt 66 on panel schedule accounts for 5 rooftop receptacles. There appear to be 9 on this project. 3. Ckt 54, which has (2) EF-2, shall have double the VA count. 4. Provide a mounting detail for the 112.5 KVA X'FMR, including dimensions and total weight of the equipment, attachment, and any other information required by the Building Plans Examiner. 5. Clarify which Ckt Sump Pump (Keynote 23) is on. 6. Ckt 19 apparently needs a 20/1 CB. 7. Lettering "CHECKOUT" and "CUSTOMER SERVICE" is upside down. 8. Provide a cut-sheet for Panel P1, which includes its listing. It appears to violate NEC 384-15 in having more than 42 OC devices. 9. Grounding of the 112.5KVA X'FMR as a derived system shall be on the secondary, not the primary. 10. Panel schedules refer to One-Line Diagram for fault current rating. One-Line does not indicate this for Panels M1, P1, or H1. 11. Fault calculations are based on 60,200 AFC from Tucson Electric Power. Note One states that there 13,540A available from the utility. Please clarify. 12. According to TEP's Electric Service Requirements, 2002 Edition, AFC for a 1000A 277/480V service from a pad-mounted transformer is only 32,600A. If this is the case, it may explain the 35,000A rating of the MDP. Please clarify. 13. On Short Circuit Schedule, the Length from the CT Cabinet to the MDP is listed as 140 LF. According to the scaled drawing this length appears to be approximately 65 LF. |
