03/09/2004 | Doug Williams | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Denied | 10 March 2004 A condition of the Floodplain Use Permit issued for the initial construction of the building (FUP # 344 - Feb. 1989) required that lowest floor elevation certification be provided to the City Floodplain Section - Department of Transportation. A completed elevation certificate could not be found in floodplain records, and does not appear to have been provided. Floodplain development requirements include certification of utilities and machinery and equipment (furnaces, hot water heaters, heat pumps, air conditioners and their associated equipment - including all electrical equipment), or an open utility platform that provide utility services for the building. See the enclosed elevation certificate and instructions for meeting this requirement. These items must be completed by a state-registered land surveyor on the enclosed elevation certificates and returned to this office prior to approval of this permit application.
