IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Distance from MDP to CREP-2, scaled out does not appear to exceed 30 LF, which is greater than the 85 LF indicated in the revised fault calculations. AFC appears to be 15,971A, greater than the 8,434 indicated on the revised fault calculations. Please verify/certify that such panel is rated for this level of fault current, or provide for more impedance in the line.
2. Professional seals on the revised sheets are not legible. We cannot read the name of the Registrant, Certificate #, state of registration, etc. Please reseal.
3. Please indicate fault current rating of the ATS.
4. "Please provide the fuel type intended for use. Since the sump apparently needs an explosion-proof disconnect, it would follow that other Code-required provisions for the installation, such as conduit seal-offs, would also be called out on the plans. Please clarify, and revise the drawings as necessary." This comment was made on the first submittal. The response letter indicates that an explosion proof disconnect was not required. However, Sheet M2 still refers us to the electrical drawings for explosion proof requirements for the duplex sump pumps. Now, if the fuel type is diesel, we concur that this is not required to be considered as a classified location. Please clarify, and feel free to call/email to discuss. The plans currently call for a circuit breaker as needed. Please call the Electrical Plans Examiner to discuss.
5. Please provide more detail on the portable generator termination cabinet. Clarify intent as to how the permanent generator is to be connected to this cabinet and how a portable generator would be connected. A cut sheet would be helpful.
6. The Mechanical Plans Examiner has indicated that there is a motor which pumps the fuel from the tank to the generator. Could not find it on the electrical drawings. Please call the Electrical Plans Examiner to discuss.
