Please resolve. 2. A stair is considered a change of elevation accomplished by one or more risers. This condition is shown at the office hall and small dining room. Please clarify width, dimension riser height (7" maximum), note landing area dimensions and show how handrail requirements are met. Ref. IBC 1003.3.3. 3. Show the sheet reference (A4) for the wall type details. 4. Provide a minimum specification for new doors if the door that is adjacent to the pre-rinse sink is a swinging door it may not encroach 3' into the path of egress travel. Ref. IBC 1003.2.3.1. 5. Please clarify landing provisions at the rear exit doors. Ref. IBC 1003.3.1.5. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet P1 1. Specify flow control at fixture P7 at the connection to the grease trap. Ref. UPC 1011.3. Sheet P2 1. The ornamental fountain basin requires back-siphonage protection. Ref. UPC 407.1. 2. Please specify cross connection control for the evaporative coolers. Ref. UPC 603. Sheet P3 1. Show the cleanouts at P10 fixtures. Ref. UPC 707.4. 2. Identify P12 fixtures in the isometric. 3. Show the P11 fixture in the isometric. 4. Label the grade cleanout in the isometric, MECHANICAL COMMENTS General 1. Provide the Type I hood design and specifications or note as a deferred submittal. Ref. IBC 106.3.4.2. Sheet M1 1. The smoke detection control note 3 in the packaged unit schedule was not found in the specifications. Please clarify. Ref. IMC 606. 2. Kitchen hood note 7 calls for the discharge at 24" above the roof. This discharge opening must be at least 40" above the roof surface as shown in the roof curb detail. Please revise. Ref. IMC 506.3.13.1. 3. The outside air schedule indicates a total outside air volume of 1,440 cfm. Please coordinate with the minimum outside air specifications in the packaged unit schedule. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS Sheets E1 and E2 1. Coordinate evaporative cooler #1 location with mechanical plan. 2. The water feature power is shown on the plan as circuit L1-12. The panel schedule identifies L1-18 for the water feature. Please clarify. 3. Please show power to the dishwasher. 4. Specify ground fault circuit interrupter protection for circuit L-21. 5.
