All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q There are no general comments to be addressed. ARCHITECTURAL: q There are no architectural comments to be addressed. STRUCTURAL: q The special inspection certificate for field welding has been submitted, however the signature by the owner or their legal agent is missing from the certificate. Please provide. q According to Sheet M-1, there are 3 new mechanical units being installed on the roof of this building. Per the letter dated January 8, 2004 by Grenier Structural Engineering Inc., the current 2 x 4 roof framing members do not meet deflection criteria "without adding mechanical units". The area of the roof where these new mechanical units are being installed needs to be structurally addressed. MECHANICAL: q The outside air table on Sheet M-1 uses 8 persons per 1,000 s.f. for the occupant load of the main sales area. This calculation should be based on 0.30 c.f.m. per s.f. and not effectively 0.12 c.f.m. per s.f. [2000 IMC Table 403.3 for "retail stores, street level" or "specialty shops, furniture]? This would make the requirement for outside air 7,050c.f.m. and not the 2,820 c.f.m. scheduled. Please correct. PLUMBING: q There are no plumbing comments to be addressed. ELECTRICAL: q On Sheet E-4, there are 5 panel schedules. The schedule for Panel "L" shows a sub feed to a Panel "LA" (and there is a schedule for Panel "LA").
