IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Please identify extent of classified location per NEC 500-8, and specify compliance with Article 502. Note that the Structural Plans Examiner has rejected the plans on the basis of building classification. Please coordinate with the Architect before assuming the present configuration for the layout.
2. Please show the phase converter, from which 3-phase (for the machinery) is being derived from single phase input.
3. Panel OW does not serve a dwelling unit, and as such it is not subject for the Optional Load Calculations per NEC 220-30. Note that with 25 exterior lights of indeterminate power consumption, and 10 receptacles, 0.6 KVA could not be an accurate count for lighting and receptacle loads.
4. Same as above for Panel C.
5. Identify specifically which separate branch circuit is to serve the elevator lighting, per NEC 620-22 (a). And please annotate that the disconnect on Keynote 9 shall be lockable in the open position.
6. Identify specifically which separate branch circuit is to serve the hoist pit for receptacle and lighting, per NEC 620-24 (a). Show the lighting switch, and locate per NEC 620-24 (b).
7. There is a lighting fixture in the elevator area on CKT C-5. It is not clear whether it serves the car or the pit, and in either case, it could not be on the same circuit as the lights and receptacles in the adjacent rooms. See the two comments directly above.
8. CKT C-27 feeds both the elevator receptacle and the ceiling fans in plan view, but Panel Schedule only notes the Elevator Motor on this Circuit. Please clarify.
9. Specify the type and size of Overcurrent Protection for all feeders. The One Line Diagram shows all feeders coming directly out of the meter pack.
10. Provide OCPD for the transformer per Article. Per the Line Diagram, there is no protection on the primary or the secondary.
11. Per Note 6 on Sheet E0, the HVAC units shall have RK5 fuses. On plan view it is not clear that such disconnects are to be fused, and the legend does not have a corresponding symbol.
12. Please provide a symbol on the legend for the light fixture on Circuit OW-4.
13. Circuit A14 has an exterior WP receptacle and the refrigerator in Plan View. Only the refrig. on the panel schedule. Please clarify.
14. Sanding Machine disconnect is located in a separate room from the machinery. Please correct.
