01/12/2005 MATT FLICK ENGINEERING REVIEW Denied 1. Please indicate whether developed contours are finished pavement or not. They seem to contradict the spot elevations.

2. Sheet 3: Correct wedge curb dimension on Accessibility Detail.

3. Sheet 4: Many questions regarding paving & drainage in this area:

Check 2359 contour accuracy. Is it a subgrade contour (as it seems to be when compared to the 59.51 at the HC ramp and as it computes based on 0.6% from 59.11) or pavement elevation (as shown at the depressed curb)?

Grade basin bottom so that the minimum slope is 0.5% (minimizes inadvertent ponding).

Specify bleed pipe location.

Show offsite topographic information so that existing and proposed elevations can be compared.

Who will the retaining wall design be submitted to?
how offsite

4. Sheet 5: Show offsite topographic information so that existing and proposed elevations can be compared.

5. Differential grading criteria is exceeded in many locations. Please submit a request for engineering justification and the supporting evidence. The other items as per the differential grading portion of the Development Standards (formaerly an amendment to the IBC) must also be met prior to grading plan approval.

Comments:

1. The grading plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering, and Landscape Review Sections and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.
2. In addition to the CDRC approved and stamped tentative plat copies, two copies of the approved and stamped landscape and NPPO plans must be included with grading plan.

3. Zoning will re-review the grading plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved site/development plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
