SUMMARY: The revised Grading Plan, a copy of the Nearmont Landfill Methane Development Plan Report, redlines, Grading Plan response letter, a copy of the street and sewer plans, revised SWPPP documents, Drainage Report response letter, TEP letter, and copies of email correspondence from the City of Tucson Real Estate Administrator regarding permission to enter for grading, were received by Engineering on May 3-6, 2005. Engineering has reviewed the received items and recommends conditional approval of the Grading Plan with the following conditional items to be addressed. A meeting with Environmental Services Engineers was held May 5, and meetings with WLB Project Engineer and designer, and Gale were held May 5 and 6 to go over remaining comments. The following conditions apply:

GRADING PLAN CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1) The south drainage improvements are not apart of this grading permit.
2) There shall be no excavation on or near the landfill area.
3) Any grading outside of the grading limits require submittal, review, and approval for a separate permit.
4) Provide copy of Right-of Entry from Real Estate.
5) Provide any further documentation clarifying easements.
6) Address and return Grading Plan and SWPPP redlines.
7) At Final Plat review stage or at south drainage improvement review, submit two bound copies of the Final Drainage Report with all addenda, data, and administrative address. The report shall include any design discussions for the south drainage improvement area.
8) A copy of the Grading Plan, grading permit, and geotechnical reports shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval.
9) Storm drain system north of Clearwater Drive shall be installed in first phase of grading and stormwater control installation.
10) Any revision to the Grading Plan MAY require a re-submittal of the revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design.
11) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date on the grading permit, contact DSD to renew or extend the grading permit. If the final grading inspection has not been completed before the grading permit expires, and the grading permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required.
12) As-builts required, with completion documentation from project engineer at time of final inspections.
13) Contact Permits and Codes (791-5100) for right-of-way permit requirements.
14) Call for SWPPP inspection and Grading Pre-construction meetings.
