However, please be advised that the Grading Plan is approved under the following premise: The Soils Report Addendum, dated December 10, 2004, states in the second paragraph of the "SLOPES" section, that "all structures should be set back from the edges of slopes a distance equal to the slope height, with a minimum setback distance of five feet for any slope". The City's interpretation of the previous statement is that the setback is measured from the top of the slope, and the mentioned slopes include cut and fill slopes and detention/retention basin side slopes where water might be ponding within the basins for prolonged periods of time. |
