REVIEWER: Loren Makus
DATE: 23 November 2004
ACTIVITY NUMBERS: T04BU02627

SUMMARY: Engineering Division has reviewed the Grading Plan and approval is not recommended at this time. The following comments must be addressed:
SITE PLAN:
1. The Grading Permit cannot be approved until the site plan has been approved.
2. Clearly show the limits of grading. Label the existing retention/detention basin as existing or provide construction details for the basin.
3. Revise the note on sheet 2 to indicate that the grading will comply with the requirements of Development Standard 11-01.0.
4. Provide the onsite retention/detention basin 100-year adjacent water surface elevation (DS 2-02.2.1 A15). The label should be clearly attached to the basins.
5. Revise the solid waste container enclosure detail, fully labeled and dimensioned (DS 2-02.2.1 A32 & DS 6-01.0). There must be post barricades along the side walls of the enclosure and the clear distance between the post barricades must be 10 feet.
6. Provide construction details for the water harvesting areas to show how that they will contain the stormwater that is directed to them. The City of Tucson water harvesting manual provides good examples of water harvesting area design.
7.
8. Additional comments may be forthcoming once the Site Plan has been approved.
