SUMMARY: The Grading Plan, Landscape, SWPPP, and a copy of the Tentative Plat were received by the City of Tucson on September 8, 2004. Engineering has reviewed the received items and does not recommend approval of the Grading Plan, Landscape Plan, or SWPPP at this time. The Drainage Report was reviewed for Grading Plan purposes only.

GRADING PERMIT COMMENTS:

1) Provide the disturbance area in square feet on the front cover sheet of the Grading Plan.
2) Add notation to sheets that have retaining wall details, that a separate building permit is required for retaining walls.
3) Add the following general notes to the Grading Plan:
a) stating that Post Grading construction inspection as well as additional percolation testing may be required.
b) Per DS Sec.2-03.2.4.M & DS Sec. 11-01: Considerations for basin construction and lot adjacent to the basin (per Pattison-Evanoff geotechnical letter dated June 28, 2004) should be added as general grading note.
c) Contact Permits and Codes (791-5100) for any right-of-way requirements.
4) Provide a copy of the soils report with the Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation letter and any other addenda included in a bound report.
5) For the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), each operator must sign the SWPPP; Provide signature lines on the SWPPP.
6) For the Landscape Plan, on sheet L2, show ramp and indicate that there will be no vegetation proposed on the access ramp.

Submit the revised Grading Plan, revised SWPPP, Geotechnical report with all attached addenda, and the revised Landscape Plan. You may call if you have any questions, at 791-5550 extension 2204.
