Resubmittal Required: A reference copy of the stamped/approved Development Plan, three sets of revised Grading and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP's), and specified SWPPP items, as indicated below.

SUMMARY: Engineering Division has reviewed the subject plans. Approval is not recommended at this time. Subsequent comments may be necessary upon resubmittal, depending upon the nature and extent of plan revisions that occur. Please address the following comments on revised plans, and provide a response letter addressing the following items in a resubmittal package:

1. Provide one copy of the stamped/approved Development Plan for reference to approved finish grades/elevations, building locations, PAAL configurations, dimensions, etc.
2. Provide a legend for all symbols used on the plans.
3. Include a basis of elevation with Benchmark and City of Tucson Field Book and Page, or similar GPS Control Point information.
4. Provide existing topographic contour elevations - no reference elevations could be found for the lines provided.
5. Provide additional construction details for the proposed modifications/extension to the existing offsite catch basin (such as the length of tapered/sloped portion of inlet?…type of construction material?…reinforcing material?
6. Include in plan view the catch basin extension/modifications to be done under this permit.
7. Provide existing spot elevations, all existing wall locations (with wall openings notes, if applicable), and all other pertinent grading and drainage related items adjacent to this project - particularly along the southern (upstream) boundary.
8. Revise General Grading Note # 9 to specify conformance to City of Tucson Development Standard 11-0.0 for grading requirements (effective 7 September 2004). Please visit http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/What_s_New/what_s_new.html for accessing this new Development Standard.
9. Provide additional construction/modification information for the proposed removal of a portion of the existing wedge curbing near the southeastern portion of the site.

10. Provide owner/operator certifications/signatures.
11. Provide contractor's certification (if known). If unknown at this time, this certification must be provided on an updated SWPPP prior to the commencement of construction activity
12. Provide 3 copies of the Arizona Construction General Permit (CGP).
13. Provide 3 copies of the signed Notice of Intent, as forwarded to Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). These may be included on the SWPPP plan sheets if preferred.

Comments:

1. The grading plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering and Landscape Review Section and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. A site card with DSD approvals by Fire, Zoning, Handi-cap, Engineering, and Landscape/NPPO including the approved development plan stamped for site plan approval and signatures is required before the grading plan can be approved by Zoning. Two copies of the approved development plan, landscape and NPPO plans are to be submitted with the grading plans packet for processing and approval as a site plan. No fees are involved in re-stamping the development/tentative plat plans as an approved site plan. The development plan, may be walked through for stamps and site card sign off. submit the following: two copies of the stamped development plan, landscape and NPPO plans must be included with the grading plans packet processed together for site approval.

3. Zoning will re-review the grading plan on the next submittal for compliance with all zoning comments.
