The Grading Plan (GP) cannot be approved as submitted. Please address the following review comments prior to the next submittal. Grading Plan: 1. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies of the GP. 2. A permit or a private improvement agreement will be necessary for any work performed within the Right-of-way. Contact Permits and Codes at (520) 791-5100 for permit information. It appears that a fair amount of rip-rap is being constructed off-site in Wrightstown Wash. Permits will be required for any work off-site also a FUP will be required for placing the rock rip-rap within the flood plain limits. 3. Provide the EHS symbol in the Legend. 4. Show proposed grade breaks. Are there grade breaks at either of the other entrances? 5. 10-year runoffs and roof drainage must be conveyed through scuppers underneath sidewalks. Verify compliance with this requirement. The flows in the 10-year event tend to be greater, therefore sidewalk scupper are warranted. An example of a grading note follows: If the location(s) of the roof scuppers have not yet been decided, a general note indicating sidewalk scuppers will be used when the roof scuppers locations or drainage crossing the sidewalks, have been designed and located will suffice. 6. Demonstrate positive drainage in the bottom of the detention basin to prevent nuisance ponding. Per previous comment. Please dimension the basin as much as possible. A detail may apply in the instance. This comment ensures proper construction and is used for inspection purposes. 7. Submit a soils report, which addresses proposed slope stabilization. Per the Soils report and a note on the grading plan indicating slope treatment: · All slopes at 3:1 require re-vegetation per the soils report (typ.). · All slopes at 2:1 require rip-rap, D50=6" with filter fabric. · All slopes at 1:1 require grouted rip-rap or a retaining wall. 8. Provide a construction detail for the refuse enclosure. The clear area of the inside of the enclosure is 10' square. With the guard post 2' from the wall, the enclosure doe not meet this standard. Drainage report: 1. All the comments have been addressed. The DR has been accepted. Stormwater pollution prevention plan: 1. In sight of the area of disturbance, 0.91 acres, a SWPPP is not required.
