IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Provide total load calculations for panel and service. Understood that there is existing equipment to be powered by the panel.
2. Show all work needed to switch existing load over to new panel.
3. Both motors shall have a disconnect per Article 430. Items on Keynotes 8 & 9 do not include motor disconnects per the One-Line Diagram and reference notes. There is no Legend or Key to Symbols to clarify.
4. Provide Legend/Key to symbols, to clarify such items as the device to be installed on the Work Shop.
5. Provide for conduit seals at the panel and the converter, because there it is not possible to provide such seal at the boundary of the Class 1 Division 2 per NEC 501-5 (b).
6. Unless Tucson Electric Power Company has explicitly stated that the AFC at this particular location does not exceed 10,000 A, please verify. According to the 2002 Service Requirements, SR-510, most RESIDENTIAL single phase services have less than 10,000 AFC if rated 200A or less, but this is commercial.
7. The #10 GND in the run to the 10 HP motor, should be #8 per NEC Table 250-122, as it its line side OCPD is rated at 70A.
8. Demonstrate compliance with NEC 455-6 (a) (2) and 455-7 (b). Can not evaluate without knowing the phase-converter nameplate current rating.
