Geronimo Ave. REVIEWER: Doug Williams DATE: 27 August 2003 ACTIVITY NUMBER: T03OT01482 T14S R13E, Section 13 SUMMARY: Engineering Division has reviewed the subject floodplain use permit application and determined that approval may not be granted at this time. Please address the following comments: 1. Please provide copies of the lowest structural member, utilities and anchoring certificates for the main structure, as required by Floodplain Use Permit #1010, issued by the Department of Transportation, Engineering Division-Floodplain Section in October, 1999. The original permit specifies that the certification of these items is completed by a registered Land Surveyor or Civil Engineer and returned to said section, as a condition of the permit. Approval of the current permit application may not be recommended until compliance with the original permit has been met (Tucson Code, Section 26-5.2 and 26-11c - Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Management Regulations); 2. In order to determine the value of this improvement, a contractor's estimate for the proposed addition must be included with the resubmittal. The estimate must include materials, labor and any overhead associated with this improvement; 3. Research and consultation with Departmental managerial staff has led to a determination that the original manufactured home placement permit (T99MH00529) and the storage room addition permit (T01CM04406) must have final inspections completed and approved prior to any further permit issuance. Please contact customer service for re-activating the above noted activity numbers, in order to complete "finals only" inspections.
