Millmar Road Floodplain use permit T03OT00947 (Second Review) T14S, R15E, Section 35 RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Floodplain use permit The Floodplain use permit (FUP) cannot be approved at this time. Please address the following review comments prior to the next submittal. Floodplain Use Permit: 1. It appears that the building is within the Erosion Hazard Setback of the Pantano Wash. The structure cannot be placed within the EHS. It was noted by recent field visit that the property may be adjacent to a curved section of the Pantano Wash. The 350' EHS may increase due to the curvature of the Pantano Wash. Please include setback calculations in a curve in the Pantano Wash, a regional water course, per S.M.D.D.F.M., chap. VII, 7.6. If the engineer can prove that the property is not adjacent to the curved section of the Pantano Wash, than the standard 350' setback will be allowed, however the position the building is in now is still within the 350' EHS and will be required to move further Southwest. 2. An elevation certificate is submitted to COT engineering division for the Records dept. after construction of the building. Per previous comment.
