The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Area and Watercourse and Amenities and Safety Habitat Regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions apply to this permit: 1) The lowest finished floor elevation (FFE) of the home shall be placed upon a dirt, concrete, or similar type solid pad to a minimum FFE of 2395.15 feet above mean sea level - National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) 1929. 2) Erosion protection is required on the portion of the building pad which lies within the regulatory floodplain. 3) All work shall conform to the attached Site Plan and drainage statement (dated 5-28-03), which are made part of this permit. 4) The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed. 5) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T03OT00494. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 6) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 7) This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any proposed development changes the configuration of the structure and / or site development. 8) Any proposed walls or fences will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section. 9) A Right-of-way excavation permit is required for any construction or excavation within the right of way - contact Permits and Codes Section/Department of Transportation at 791-5100 for inquiries. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. Also, this permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section.
