All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q There are no general comments to be addressed. ARCHITECTURAL: q Sheet C-2 indicates with a note that the roofing is to be removed under the "platform". The platform is a "raised" platform (there are bearing plates which support the platform 12" off of the roof). The platform is a grate and will allow water through to the roof below. What protects the roof deck from this water now that the roofing is gone? STRUCTURAL: q There are no structural comments to be addressed. ELECTRICAL: q The typical grounding system diagram on Sheet E4 indicates has keyed note No. 6 in two places, however the grounding notes list indicates that note no. 6 is not used. Please clarify. Also, there is no clear reference to bonding the metal equipment platform. -End of Review- |
