IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

Sheet E-1
1. In Keynotes 6, 7, 9 & 10, specify that the combination starter shall have overload protection, sized per manufacturer's recommendations.
2. Provide individual disconnects for the individual single-phase gate motors on LA4-37,39,41, per NEC 430-102.
3. Home run indicates Circuit 11,13, Circuit 15,17, and Circuit 19,21. Circuits are actually Circuit 13,15, Circuit 17,19, and Circuit 21,23. Re-check all such work on this Sheet.

Sheet E-3
1. Note 4d refers to NEC 620-72. There is no NEC 620-72.
2. Clarify the intent regarding the series rating of the panels. For example, Panels HB and HC are electrically and physically in the same proximity to the MSB; however, HB has a straight rating of 65,000 AIC, whereas HC is series rated 65,000 AIC. This combined with the wording in Note 1 could lead to differences in interpretation. Furthermore, Section 2.3 of the Specifications Sheet E-16 call out for CBs rated 100,000 at 480V, UNO. In all cases, specify the AIC rating of all OCPDs in switchgear, distribution gear, panels main and branch circuit CBs. For series rated devices, specify the higher and lower ratings, such as 65/10 K, and to which devices these ratings pertain. If necessary, provide AFC at requisite parts of the system, and show calculations.
3. Regarding Note 5, it is not the responsibility of the Contractor to determine if motor loads in conjunction with series ratings would violate. Please perform this analysis with the design, and provide for fully rated panels, as necessary.
4. Feeder to Panel LB6, 3/0, ampacity 200A. Not protected by a 225A CB.
5. Feeder to Panel LB6, #6 GND, per Table 250-122, is too small on load side of 225A OCPD.
6. Eliminate the #3 GND in the Service Entrance Conductor run, as it introduces a parallel path to ground on the line side of the service disconnect.
7. Specify sizing for the Main Bonding Jumper per NEC 250-102 (c). (8) 500KCMIL = 4000(0.125) = 500 KCMIL.
8. The 15 KVA Transformer, with 18.1 FLA on the primary, takes (18.1)(2.5)=45.1. Table 450-3(b) does not allow rounding up, so the CB on the primary should be 45A, not 50.
9. 50A CB does not protect #12 15 KVA X'FMR feeder at its ampacity.
10. #12 GND on load side of 50A CB for 15 KVA X'FMR is undersized per Table 250-122.
11. Feeder on the secondary to 15 KVA X'FMR, #10 GND is undersized. Smallest size per Table 250-66 is #8.
12. Feeder on the secondary to 300 KVA X'FMR, 2/0 GND is undersized. Should be 3/0 per Table 250-66.
13. Feeder on the secondary to 225 KVA X'FMR, 1/0 GND is undersized. Should be 2/0 per Table 250-66.

Sheet E-4
1. LA2-42 has receptacles on Floor Power Plan. On the Panel Schedule this is a spare.
2. For the freight elevator, Grid C-7, provide a separate branch circuit for the Machinery Space Lighting and Receptacle, per NEC 620-23. Fulfill all requirements of this Code Section.
3. For the freight elevator, Grid C-7, provide a separate branch circuit for the Hoistway Pit Lighting and Receptacle, per NEC 620-24. Fulfill all requirements of this Code Section.
4. Disconnect for elevator is not clearly shown in Room 122. Symbols are overlaid one on top of the other in a congested fashion. Please clarify per NEC 620-51 (c).
5. Clearly define which receptacles and which lights go on which circuits for elevator car (620-22), elevator equipment room (620-23) , and elevator pit (620-24). Show location of OC device per 620-22, pit lighting switch per 620-24 (c) , and machine room lighting switch per 620-23 (b).

Sheet E5
1. EGC for the Compressor feeders HB-37,39,41 and HB-38,40,42 should be #8 per Table 250-122, not #10.
2. Vehicle Lift of LB4-13,15 would appear to need a disconnect switch and overload protection per Article 430. Please verify this, and correct as necessary. Typical for all such circuits. And the use of #12 conductor is questionable on certain of these circuits, especially since they are all protected at 30A , and some of them have #10 conductor. Also note that #10 is the minimum size EGC on the load side of the 30A CB. Also note that there is a separate Circuit LB4-13 feeding a j-box, single pole. Please re-check all such items on this Sheet.
3. Regarding EC4 on this Sheet, there is no such piece of equipment on the Mechanical Schedules. Provide overload protection for this piece of equipment per Article 430. If this is indeed a 5 HP unit at 480V 3-phase, it would draw 7.6A per Table 430-150, thus could not be properly Ground Fault and Short Circuit protected by the 70A CB on HB-32,34,36.
4. There are Circuits LB3-13,15 feeding a single receptacle, but according to the Panel Schedule this is to be a Vehicle Lift. Please clarify. Please re-check all such items on this Sheet.
5. Regarding EC2 on this Sheet, there is no such piece of equipment on the Mechanical Schedules. Provide overload protection for this piece of equipment per Article 430. It's Circuit, LB3-31,33,35, is Vehicle Lift and 2 spares, not serving any EC2. Also note that this Panel is a 208V Panel serving a 480V load.
6. Regarding EC3 on this Sheet, there is no such piece of equipment on the Mechanical Schedules. Provide overload protection for this piece of equipment per Article 430.

Sheet E6
1. Show International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) calculations. All buildings constructed after 1994 shall conform to its Lighting Power Budget.
2. There are two circuits HA-23. Please re-evaluate, and double-check all circuitry on this project in this regard.
3. Circuit HA-21 appears underloaded. I compute 1560 as opposed to 975 VA. Please double-check all lighting branch circuits on this sheet, for this is not a 100% inspect.

Sheet E8
