This door shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. Ref. IBC 1003.3.1.8. Sheet GD2 1. The electrical plan shows a clothes washer. No clothes washer is specified in the plumbing fixture section. Please clarify. Sheet A1 1. Specify the new threshold at the service door to have a maximum height of ½" and a maximum slope of 50%. Ref. IBC 1003.3.1.6. 2. Toilet room does not comply with accessibility requirements. See Sheet A-3 comments. 3. Specify the heights of all interior walls on the floor plan. Sheet A2 1. In detail 8/A2, specify the method of connection to the foundation and to the decorative wood cap at the top of the low wall. The critical wall height dimension has been obliterated by the designer's seal. Clearly show the wall height dimension. 2. Provide complete construction details for all wall types. Ref. IBC 1613.07. Sheet A-3 1. In elevation 2/A-3, dimension the distance from the sidewall to the centerline of the water closet. Ref. ANSI A117.1, 604.2 and the distance from the centerline of the water closet to the lavatory (a minimum of 42") Ref. ANSI A117.1, 604.3. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet MP-1 1. Verify the location of all existing supply and waste lines for the design of this project and include the correct locations in the second submittal. Any field revisions will require a ten working day review. 2. Private clothes washer fixture unit values are not used for this project. Revise per UPC Tables 6-3 and 7-3. Ref. UPC 202.0. MECHANICAL COMMENTS Sheet MP-1 1. Specify condensate disposal material, size and point of termination. Ref. IMC 307. 2. Specify cfm values for the five supply diffusers where this information is not shown. 3. Specify smoke detection system control provisions in accordance with IMC 606. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS General 1. This drawing is only marginally legible. Provide a clean copy. The City of Tucson microfilms these documents and much of the small blurred print will be lost. Sheet E1 1. Show the circuit for the toilet room lights. Show power provisions to the exhaust fan that has not been shown in the toilet room but is to be in the scope of work in accordance with the mechanical drawings. 2. Provide a riser diagram. This is the designer's responsibility, not the contractor. 3. Show the correct location of the toilet room exhaust fan. 4. Specify a weather proof ground fault circuit interrupter protected receptacle for the L-25 outlet. Ref. NEC 410-57. |
