1. Regarding the above-ceiling receptacles, per NEC 400-8, it is not permitted to use flexible cords where concealed behind suspended ceilings. Some modification would need to be taken to comply with 400-7, Used Permitted. Suggest one of the following:
A: If the equipment being plugged into the above ceiling receptacles does not have a cord and plugs in directly, such as a low-voltage transformer, change the duplex to simplex receptacle.
B: If the equipment has a cord, suggest a J-box for the receptacle and flexible conduit for the cord.
