Recheck lateral resisting system in longitudinal and transverse direction of Storage Racks, and verify R factors in longitudinal and transverse direction for compliance with IBC Tables 1617.6 and 1622.2.5(1), where R shall not be less than 4. Please address lateral force resisting system that has been chosen for both directions and update Structural Calculations accordingly. 2. Recheck Foundation Calculations based on ACI 318-99, Section 22.5. When existing Storage Racks are supposed to be installed into existing slab, it shall be assumed as non-reinforced unless inspection testing is utilized. Please clarify. |
