PLAN REVIEW FOR THE ABOVE REFERENCED STRUCTURE HAS BEEN COMPLETED. THIS LETTER REFLECTS COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED. IN ORDER TO FACILITATE A SHORTER BACK CHECK TIME, WE REQUEST THAT YOU PLEASE PROVIDE REVISED PLANS AND CALCULATIONS, HIGHLIGHTING ANY CHANGES, ALONG WITH A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO EACH OF THE NOTED ITEMS INDICATING ACTION TAKEN.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. ALL CORRECTIONS AND REVISIONS SHALL BE MADE ON THE ORIGINAL TRACINGS AND TWO NEW SETS OF PRINTS OR (1) SEPIA & (1) BLUE LINE SHALL BE RETURNED ALONG WITH ALL REDLINE PRINTS.

2. PEN OR PENCIL CORRECTIONS ON FINAL PRINTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. TO AVOID DELAYS ENSURE ALL CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, ARE COMPLETE AND HAVE BEEN COORDINATED ON ALL APPLICABLE DETAILS AND NOTES.

3. ALL ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS INVOLVED IN THE DESIGN OF THE STRUCTURE ARE TO SEAL THE
RELATED SHEETS OF PLANS, DETAILS AND CALCULATIONS. THIS IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF
THE STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL REGISTRATION.

FLOOR PLANS:

1. PROVIDE THE LOCATIONS OF TEMPERED GLASS PER R308.4.
REQUIRED AT WINDOW "A" AT FOYER AND STAIR LANDING

2. PROVIDE ACCESS TO EACH SEPARATE ATTIC AND CRAWL SPACE THAT EXCEEDS 30SF. DESIGNATE
LOCATIONS ON THE DRAWINGS. OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 22" BY 30". THE ATTIC ACCESS SHALL
PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF 30" OF HEADROOM, AND SHALL BE LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR READILY
ACCESSIBLE SPACE PER R807.

3. COMPLY WITH R309.2. PROVIDE ½" GYPSUM BOARD ON ALL WALLS COMMON TO THE GARAGE AND HOUSE.
WHERE SEPARATION IS A FLOOR-CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE SEPARATION SHALL
ALSO BE PROTECTED BY A MINIMUM ½" GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.

STRUCTURAL PLANS:

1. STRUCTURAL PLANS PAGES 10, 11, AND 12 HAVE DUPLICATE PAGES. ONE SET HAS ENGINEERS STAMPS AND ONE SET DOES NOT. REMOVE THE COUNTY APPROVED SET AND SUBMITT ENGINEERED APPROVED [STAMPED] PAGES.

ELEVATIONS:

1. NOTE AND DIMENSION THAT THE FIREPLACE CHIMNEY MUST TERMINATE A MINIMUM OF 2' ABOVE ANY
POINT OF ROOF WITHIN 10' MEASURED HORIZONTALLY AND NOT LESS THAN 3' ABOVE THE POINT WHERE
THE CHIMNEY PASSES THROUGH THE ROOF, PER R1001.6
