It is currently run under the slab for the addition. Show where new meter will be. Floor Plan 1. Note and specify that shower enclosures shall have a minimum finished interior of 1024 Sq in. per 1994 UPC sec 410.4. 2. Water heater in the laundry room should be on a platform of minimum height of 18". 3. Give dimension of window in existing bedroom. Compliance with light (R303.1), ventilation(R303.1) and egress from a bedroom (R310) are a concern since one window will be covered by addition. Structural Plan 1. Partition bearing wall sills to be pressure treated per R323 2. Interior partition wall must be anchored to wall with a minimum of ½" bolts @ 3' o.c. per R606.10(2). 3. Over framing; provide a 22"x30" hole in the roof below over framing to allow for attic ventilation and access to over framed areas. Elevations / Sections / Details 1. Attic Ventilation calculations need to be noted on plan. R806.2 2. Note and Dimension that fireplace chimney must terminate a minimum of 2' above any point of roof within 10' measured horizontally and not less that 3' above the point where the chimney passes through the roof. Per 1001.6 3. Note and dimension that the fireplace footing will extend at least 6" beyond each side of the exterior dimension of the chimney per R1001.1.1. 4. Refer to IRC 2000 Figure R1003.1 and pertinent sections to provide a complete fireplace detail in addition to comments #2 and #3 above. Plumbing Plans 1. Revise Plumbing plan and isometrics. Add size of pipe and route of pipe(on plan view). Refer to 1994 UPC and State of Arizona for code compliance. 2. Note total developed length. 3. Note on plan compliance with water conservation: water closets 1.6 gallons per flush, sinks and showerheads 3 gallons per minute. 4. Note on plans that shower and Tub/shower combination that have individual control valves shall be of the pressure balance or thermostatic mixing valve type. 5. Show gas calculations, pipe size & layout, BTU/H demand, locations of appliances and total developed length of pipe. Electrical Plans 1. New Panel Schedule; Clarify the 'DRYER-EXISTING' and 'NEW LIVING RM EXTENSION' circuits. The dryer circuit will require 2 spaces in the panel (10 &12), while the new living room will require a completely different circuit. Please Clarify. Also, if new panel is to be 150 AMPS then change panel schedule to reflect this. 2. Note locations of Smoke Detectors in the existing house per R317. 3. Submit and Electrical Riser Diagram. 4.
