All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q There are no general comments to be addressed. ARCHITECTURAL: q There are no architectural comments to be addressed. STRUCTURAL: q The shop drawings for the metal building need to be submitted for review prior to permit issuance (i.e. they cannot be deferred). The I-joists as a component of the building can be deferred. q What is the weight of the evaporative coolers placed on the ceiling structure? Has the ceiling structure been designed to accommodate this additional load? q How is access being provided to the evaporative coolers for maintenance [2000 IMC Sec. 306.3]? There needs to be solid flooring 24" wide from the point of access to the unit and this passage way cannot be more than 20 feet long from the point of access. Please clarify MECHANICAL: q Sheet P-1 indicates an 80 c.f.m. exhaust fan in the bathroom. Sheet M-1 indicates a 70 c.f.m. exhaust fan in the bathroom. The requirement for outside air in the bathroom is 75 c.f.m. per toilet [2000 IMC Table 403.3]. Please coordinate and correct. PLUMBING: q There are no plumbing comments to be addressed.
