This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2000 IBC, 1997 UAC, 2000 IMC, 1998 IECC, 1999 NEC codes with local modifications, and the 1994 UPC with State of Arizona Amendments. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. 2. Secure Health Department approval for this project. 3. Two or more buildings on the same lot shall be regulated as separate buildings or shall be considered as portions of one building if the height of each building and the aggregate area of buildings are within the limitations of IBC Table 503. Provide clarifying information, including type of construction, square footage, and occupancies of adjacent buildings. Reference IBC Section 503.1.3. Sheet 2 1. Indicate on plans the occupancy group. A restaurant is classified as an A-2. Revise plans as necessary. Reference IBC Section 303.1. Sheet C-1 1. For the purpose of determining the required wall and opening protection buildings on the same property shall be assumed to have property lines between them. Provide clarifying information on site plan. Reference IBC Section 704.3. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: 1. Revise occupant load calculations. The occupant load on Sheet T-1 does not match the occupant load on Sheet A2. Revise plans as necessary. Reference IBC Table 1003.2.2.2. 2. The outdoor patio and bar area have an occupant load greater than 50, which requires two exits. Gate 109 must swing in the direction of travel. Reference IBC Section 1003.3.1.2. Sheet A2 1. It appears that the bar area does not have the clear aisle width as required for egress. Revise plans as necessary. Reference IBC Sections 1004.3.1 and 1008.7.1. Sheets A1 and A8 1. Note on plans that egress doors shall be operable from the egress side without the use of key or special knowledge or effort. Gates serving as means of egress shall conform to the requirements for doors. Reference IBC Sections 1003.3.1.8 and 1003.3.2. Sheets A-3 and E-3 1. Note on the plans that "rigid conduits entering the walk-ins shall be provided with expansion joints as required by NEC Article 300-7 (b)." ENERGY CODE COMMENTS: 1. Provide calculations to indicate compliance with the requirements of the Model Energy Code. Reference IBC Section 106.1.1. ACCESSIBILITY COMMENTS: Sheet C1 1.
