Appliances to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps may require reduced pressure principle backflow preventers. Provide calculations and sufficient information on the drawing to show that the new water supply piping is sized in accordance with Section 610.4, UPC 1994 and that the additional fixtures will not overload the existing piping. 4. Provide information to show that the hub drain (Detail 2/P1) complies with Section 410.1, UPC 1994 and indicate the locations for its use. 5. Modify trap arm length of FS-1 at the Bakery Bar to conform to Table 10-1, UPC 1994 with AZ State amendments. 6. Provide a vent for floor sink FS-2 at the Bakery Bar. Reference Section 901.0, UPC 1994. 7. Note 21 on sheet P1 calls for grease drains from the new exhaust fans to be piped to floor sinks. Provide information to show that this will not violate the requirements of Sections 714.1 and 1008.1, UPC 1994. 8. Provide the listing for the gas appliance connectors. The use of gas flex hose does not appear to be justified for this application. Reference Section 1212.0, UPC 1994. |
