This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2000 IBC, 1997 UAC, 2000 IMC, 1998 IECC, 1999 NEC codes with local modifications, and the 1994 UPC with State of Arizona Amendments. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. 2. The vacuum canopy and drying canopy is noted by others. However, the electrical plans have lighting and other details shown for those canopies. The mechanical plans do not show anything. Please coordinate and clarify that work as either being wholly a deferred design submittal or separate permit. Reference IBC Section 106. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: Sheets A2.1 and A7.1 1. Detail-2 does not satisfy the 2000 IBC requirement for a primary and secondary roof drainage system when storm water cannot drain freely over the eaves. The secondary roof drainage system shall be designed for twice the design rainfall. Please review and clarify. Reference IBC Section 1503.4, IPC Section 1107, and IBC Section 102.4. Sheets A6.1 1. Gypsum board is noted for installation over the automatic car washing line. Please clarify specific manufacturer's material for the proposed high humidity ceiling installation. Reference IBC Section 2509. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: Sheet S1.1 1. The Specification for Masonry Structures is ACI 530.1. Please correct reference notation. 2. The roof trusses are noted for design by a truss manufacturer. Please complete enclosed deferred design submittal request letter to the Building Official. Reference IBC Sections 106.3.3 and 106.3.4. 3. The City of Tucson Special Inspection and Testing Agreement is enclosed for your use. Please complete and return with your resubmittal. Sheet S1.2 1. Detail-2 slope should be a 30o angle from the horizontal. Reference IBC Section 1805.2.2. PLUMBING COMMENTS: Sheet P2.1 1. Interior and exterior waste drainage piping shall slope at 2%.
