All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q The paint booth - is it to be permitted under this permit (with information regarding it submitted as a deferred submittal) or is it going to be permitted later? This should be clarified on the plans. In either event, the plans need to indicate that the paint booth needs to be a listed booth [2000 IBC Sec. 902.1]. In lieu of a listed construction information regarding the booth needs to be provided that demonstrates that the booth meets the requirements of Chapter 15 of the 2000 IFC and NFPA 33. ARCHITECTURAL: q There are no architectural comments to be addressed. STRUCTURAL: q Provide a copy of the geotechnical report referenced in the structural calculations (Western Technologies No. 2926JX481 dated March 14, 1997). q Provide a City of Tucson special inspection certificate(s) for the following items: · Masonry · Welding · Epoxy / Expansion Anchors. q Revise the deferred submittal note on Sheet S1.1. Deferred submittal drawings need to be reviewed by the Engineer of Record, then submitted for plan check and approved by the building department prior to being handed to the inspector in the field. The last sentence indicates that the plans go directly from the Engineer of Record to the Field Inspector. MECHANICAL: q There are no mechanical comments to be addressed.
