This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2000 IBC, 1997 UAC, 2000 IMC, 1998 IECC, 1999 NEC codes with local modifications, and the 1994 UPC with State of Arizona Amendments. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. ARCHITECTUAL COMMENTS: Sheet A0/HPS1 1. The drawings are not signed, sealed, and dated by the architect. Please provide two sealed copies with your resubmittal. Reference IBC Section 106. 2. The drawing identifies earthquake zone 2. However, that designation is for the UBC not the IBC. Please review and clarify seismic design category for the proposed site. Reference IBC Section 1616.3. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: Calculations 1. The proposed design does not address the suitability of the existing building slab and soil conditions for the support and anchoring of the proposed racking system. Please provide sealed calculations addressing existing conditions for the safe support of proposed rack loads. Reference IBC Sections 1604.4 and 3402.2. 2. Not all expansion anchors are approved for seismic loading under the IBC. Please delete all anchors except the one that is engineered required and approved for the design conditions. Special inspection is required for installation. Please identify special inspection agency and provide the City of Tucson Special Inspection and Testing Agreement. Reference IBC Section 1604.4. PLUMBING COMMENTS: The plumbing portion was not part of this review. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: The mechanical portion was not part of this review.
