01/28/2004 | Linda Buczynski | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. Sheet E-2 1. Please specify sizing for the GEC and MJB. This comment was made on the first submittal. Note that per NEC 250-102 (c , where the service entrance conductors exceed 1100 kcmil copper, that bonding jumper shall have an area not less that 12 1½ of the largest phase conductor. (4) (600) (0.125) = 300. MBJ shall be 300 kcmil, not 3/0, which per Table 8 is only 167.8 kcmil. 2. Note 2 calls for CBs at the MSB to be rated 100,000 A.I.C. On the SLD the CBs are 65,000. Please clarify. 3. Comments from first review called for the fault current to be shown at all critical points of the system. Please do so. For example, DMA and DMB appear to have fault currents exceeding 14,000A. Same for K70 and K71. K34 appears to have AFC . 10,000A. Other pieces of equipment, such as REF1and AC6, appear to have AFC . 5,000A. Please demonstrate, on the plans, that such equipment will not be subject to fault current beyond their ratings. Sheet E-3 1. Keynote 2 refers to Sheet E-10. There is no such Sheet. Sheet E-4 1. K56 listed as 5 KW on Kitchen Equipment Schedule, but 600VA on E-26. Please clarify. 2. Changes have been made to the sealed drawings, using the Revision Triangle and cloud, but without documentation in the right column title block area. Please provide such proper documentation, as was done on Sheet E-1, for all sheets subject to revision. This is a global comment, applying to all sheets as necessary. 3. North arrow orientation does not conform to that of Sheets A1.0 or ST.1. Please coordinate among disciplines. Sheet E-5 1. EF-3 at 2 HP 208 V motor 24.2A per NEC Table 430-150. (24.2) (1.25) = 30.25. Please size the fuse at 30 A for overload protection or justify otherwise. |
