Collection vehicles are not allowed to drive over striped areas. 2. Relocate the refuse container location due to inadequate maneuvering mobility. Demonstrated mobility area for refuse truck cannot overlap striped areas. Containers are to be placed or positioned so that the collection vehicle does not have to back into moving traffic, on or off the premises or impede the continuous flow of traffic within the development. D.S. 6-01.4.1.H & I. Enclosures are to have gates, minimum opening of ten feet. D.S. 6-01.4.2.A-C For approval of proposed design, you may contact John Clark of Environmental Services at 791-3175 ext.1136 3. Curbing is required on all streets in order to adequately control drainage within the street, prevent moisture from entering the subgrade, control access to abutting property, separate the roadway from the pedestrian area, and provide adequate lateral support for the pavement structure. Vertical curbing is required on all MS&R streets and streets with a projected ADT of 1,000 or more. The minimum curb return for an arterial street to a PAAL is 25 feet. |
