All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q There are no general comments to be addressed. STRUCTURAL: q There are no structural comments to be addressed. ELECTRICAL: q Check the one-line diagram on Sheet E-1 relative to the conductors leading from Panel LP-1 to the ET II Site Support Cabinet. There are 3 conduits carrying conductors for 4 circuits. All conductors are #6 AWG. The breakers protecting these conductors are 50 amps (circuits 5 and 7) and 100 amps (circuits 1 and 3). However, circuits 1 and 3 are noted as a spare so why are conductors being attached to these circuits? Further, the #6 conductors are not capable of taking 100 amps [1999 NEC Table 310-16]. Last, how are these 3 groups of conductors paired for these 4 circuits? Please clarify. q What sizes are the conductors served by circuits 2 and 4 (the 60 amp AC Surge Protection circuit) and the 20 amp Telco GFI circuit? Please clarify. -End of Review- |
