All corrections must be made to the original drawings and two new complete and corrected sets resubmitted along with a written reply to all comments. To facilitate a timely recheck please insure all drawing changes or revisions made to previously issued sheets are highlighted by cloud and revision number. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS General 1. County Health Department review and approval is required for the approval to construct the remodel and addition. Contact (520) 740-2760 for additional information regarding County Health review fees and turnaround schedules. Sheet T1 1. Provide the occupant load calculation. Ref. IBC 1003.2.2.2. 2. The project summary block indicates fixed seating of 20. This is not consistent with the seating and décor plan on Sheet D2. Please revise. 3. Note 26 specifies the base for the toilet rooms as "to be selected". Note specifically that the base will be smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface to a height of 6" above the finished floor. Ref. IBC 1209.1. 4. Notes 58 and 63 indicate there will be two types of new interior walls. Provide a detail showing the method of connection at the top and bottom of the new walls. Ref. IBC 1607.13. 5. The new wall finish keynoted as #24 is not identified on this sheet or on the décor plan as indicated by the note. Please specify this finish material as applicable to the A-2 occupancy group. Ref. IBC Table 803.4 (see also footnote "e"). 6. Keyed notes 30 and 41 were not found on the plan. Please clarify. 7. Specify the height of the new interior wall adjacent to the lighted product display. 8. Specify that signage will be provided for the toilet rooms. Ref. ANSI A117.1, 703. Sheet A2 1. Provide a detail of the reflective ceiling connection to the structure above. Sheet A5 1. Provide a detail for the construction of the masonry veneer. Include the specifications for horizontal reinforcement in the detail. Ref. IBC 1405. Sheet A10 1. Specify a maximum threshold slope of 50%. Ref. IBC 1003.3.1.6. Sheet 11 1. Provide a minimum vertical dimension for the kickplate of 10" per ANSI A117.1, 404.2.10. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS General 1. Sheet S3.1 is missing from the plan set. Please include this sheet with the second submittal. 2. Coordinate concentrated load of new rooftop mechanical equipment on existing horizontal framing members with mechanical specifications. Ref. IBC 1606.2. Sheet S1.1 1. An approved special inspection certificate for the epoxy anchors must be provided to the Building Official prior to obtaining a permit. Ref. IBC 1704. 2. Note the Sheet number for the details referenced in the isolated footing schedule. Sheet S.2 1. Note the locations of all shear walls at new rooms 111 and 116. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet P1 1. The potable water supply to carbonators must have a listed reduced pressure principle backflow preventer. Ref. UPC 603.3.12. 2. Specify the material for soil and waste piping. Ref. UPC 701.1. MECHANICAL COMMENTS Sheet M1 1. Provide weight specifications of new rooftop mechanical equipment for coordination with structural engineer for consideration of concentrated loads on existing framing. Ref. IBC 1606.2. 2. Show the material, size, path and point of termination for condensate disposal. Ref. IMC 307.2 3. Provide a calculation for the required outdoor ventilation air. Ref. IMC Table 403.3. 4. Provide specification for smoke detection control and coordinate with electrical drawings. Smoke detectors shall be installed in return air systems with a design capacity greater than 2000cfm. Ref. IMC 606.2. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS Sheet E1 1. Provide disconnecting means and verify ampere rating for the new 3 ton rooftop HVAC unit. The panel schedule shows a 20 amp circuit. Ref. NEC 440-11. 2. Point of sale outlets show Panel B circuits 11 and 13. It appears the reference should be to Panel B-1. Similar correction is required at the menu board junction box. 3. Load calculations do not include the new A/C units. Please clarify ENERGY COMMENTS General 1. Provide the interior power lighting analysis. Ref.
